Privacy policy
Short version: we process as little as possible, keep it as briefly as possible, and sell nothing to anyone.
URLs you check
When you check a URL, our server fetches that page (as the bot MetaPeekBot), reads its meta tags and measures the preview image. Results are cached for up to 5 minutes to keep the tool fast, then discarded. We do not build a history of what you check.
Rate limiting
To keep the service available we count requests per IP address over a one-minute window. These counters expire automatically after that minute.
Beta waitlist
If you join the monitoring waitlist we store exactly two things: your email address and the signup time. We use them for one purpose — inviting you to the beta — and delete them on request at any time via hello@metapeek.app.
Analytics
We use cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics (aggregate page views only). No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiles, no cookie banner needed.
